The Constitution

The Constitution of the United States is the supreme law of the United States. It was adopted in its original form on September 17 in 1787 and ratified by the people in conventions.

Festivities

- New Year. January, 1st
Americans enjoy new Year's day just as many other countries do, though most have to work on the 2ns of January as well.

- Mother's Day. It is in the second Sunday in May
A day for celebrating mothers. The Americans bring their mothers chocolates or flowers.

- Independence Day. July, 4th
On this day Americans celebrate the day, when they became an independent nation.

- Friendship Day. First Sunday in July
On his day, people spend time with a friend they like to honor him or her as a good friend.

- Hallowen. October, 31st
Halloween is often celebrated by children dressing up as fantasy characters and going door to door to ask for candies saying "Trick or Treat".

- Thanksgiving Day. Fourth Thursday in November.
A day for remenbrance and thankfulness



Typical Food

It's a bit hard to name a single food "typical" since there are so many regions within that country. Dinner is considered the main meal of the day, ussually served after 5:00 P.M. but before 10:30 P.M.
